- Subscription and billing metadata (status, plan, Stripe customer/subscription IDs).
- Planning data you enter (students, curriculum plans, activities, project notes, skills, reminders).
- Uploaded media (e.g., profile or planning images you choose to upload).
- Technical data (basic logs for reliability, performance, and security).
2. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the Service.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Process subscriptions and payments (through Stripe).
- Store and sync planning content across sessions/devices.
- Improve product quality, reliability, and support.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Payments and Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Stripe may collect and process payment information under Stripe's own privacy terms.
4. Student/Child Information
The Service is used by parents/guardians or authorized educators to manage homeschool planning. Information about students is provided by the account owner.
You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to submit student information and for using the Service in compliance with applicable child-data laws and school/family requirements.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with trusted service providers that help us operate the Service, such as:
- Supabase — authentication, database hosting, and file storage for user-uploaded assets.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe may collect and process payment information under their own privacy terms.
- Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver emails you initiate.
- Upstash — Redis-based rate limiting. Upstash may process anonymized request identifiers to enforce usage limits.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
6. Data Retention
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements.
When you delete your account, your personal data and planning content are permanently removed from our systems. Residual copies in automated backups are purged within 30 days. Some information (such as billing records) may be retained longer where required by law or financial regulations.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- Update account details through account settings.
- Request account deletion through available account controls.
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable by law.
9. International Use
If you access the Service from outside your home jurisdiction, you understand your information may be processed in other regions where our service providers operate.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when posted. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
